COMMON QUESTIONS

  • What does the dinner service include?
    Menu design Transportation Ingredient cost Ingredients Preparations and Table Service Any additional service (drinks, service staff, tableware, floral and table decor) will be billed separately.
  • How many guests do you service?
    We serve from 2-20 guests, and we provide catering delivery for up to 50 people.
  • How long does the chef need to prepare?
    Chef will need access to the kitchen 3 hours prior to the agreed dinner or lunch start time.
  • Can I choose from a menu?
    Indeed. Chef Mariana has a sample menu prepared that is full of dishes she has cooked for clients in the past. You will find something you will enjoy and she can always alter the menu to meet your preferences.
  • Is WAMF insured?
    Yes. WAMF has obtained liability insurance. This insurance is specifically for personal chefs who conduct services in clients’ home.
  • How far in advance should I book a dinner party?
    Ideally two weeks in advance upon a 50% deposit payment. Please contact us if services are needed any sooner.
  • How can I pay for services?
    Once menu is set and number of guests is confirmed we’ll email an invoice or payment. We accept all credit cards or you can send a zelle to When Art Meets Food.
  • Can I add guests?
    Yes you can add up to three guests one week prior to the event. Contact us if there’s last minute changes and we’ll do our best to accommodate the head count.
  • Can you accommodate vegan, paleo, whole 30, dash diets?
    Yes. Our chef has worked in plant based restaurants and has a sports nutrition certification and is happy to help you with any diet request, ingredient swaps or menu tweaks to better suit your preferences/ restrictions.
