Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Chef Mariana Ascoli brings creativity, culture, and intention to every plate she crafts. After earning a Business Management certificate in Australia and a BA in Fashion Design in Brazil, she discovered her true passion in the art and science of food.
Trained alongside award-winning teams at Michelin-starred restaurants in Houston, Chef Mariana founded When Art Meets Food in 2020 to merge fine-dining techniques with nutrition and mindful eating. Her cuisine is globally inspired, plant-forward, and performance-driven—designed to nourish the body while delivering an unforgettable sensory experience.

When Art Meets Food offers a highly personalized in-home meal prep experience designed for clients who value thoughtful food, ease, and consistency. Each menu is custom-crafted around your preferences and dietary needs, then sent in advance for approval to ensure every cooking session feels tailored, intentional, and seamless.
Cooking sessions typically last 3.5 to 4.5 hours and include custom menu planning, grocery coordination through your preferred store account, in-home preparation, labeling, storage, and full kitchen reset.
This service is designed to bring both beauty and structure to your weekly routine, with carefully prepared meals.
Each experience begins with a personalized consultation and custom menu design proposal, inspired by seasonality, and crafted to suit your favorite cuisine and dietary restrictions.
We hand pick every ingredients and prioritize organic and premium ingredients from top grocery stores and farmers market.
